Today, the Slavuta City Council has made a decision on voluntarily accession of the Varvarivka rural hromada to the hromada of the city of the oblast significance of Slavuta.

This is the seventh city of oblast importance in Ukraine to have undergone all stages of accession in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Voluntary Amalgamation of Hromadas”.

According to the Association, six cities: Rzhyshchiv, Voznesensk, Shostka, Lozova, Novhorod-Siverskyi, Kolomyia - completed accession procedures. In general, 22 village councils joined them.
