The international technical aid project «Partnership for City Development» (PROMIS Project), implemented in 2015-2021 by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Canada, has completed its activity in Ukraine.
Thanks to the cooperation with the Project for six years 16 Ukrainian towns in the Vinnytsya, Zaporizhia, Poltava and Ivano-Frankivsk oblasts have managed to make positive changes in enhancing the municipal governance, democratic governance implementation and economic development. For that purpose, strategic instruments were developed, tens of trainings were conducted and a set of initiatives were realized, creating a strong basis for quality changes in hromadas and extended a perspective for their growth.
