The Danish municipality of Gulborgsunn will share its experience with Ukrainian hromadas to enhance the local self-government efficiency.
It was announced by the ambassador of the kingdom of Denmark to Ukraine Ole Egberg Mikkelsen during an online-discussion with representatives of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and the EU Delegation in Ukraine.
The diplomat emphasizes that Ukraine "can be proud of its achievements in the process decentralisation".
"Decentralisation has to be characterized with greater transparency, improved accountability and righteousness locally. That is why Gulborgsunn experience will be beneficial as a two-way cooperation will make it possible to share hands-on knowledge of Denmark in applying digital platforms and increasing local self government transparency", - he said.
According to the ambassador, it also involves the experience of introducing automated self service tools and public online-hearings about budget usage.
