Within an official visit to Switzerland the Head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov met the Swiss Confederation President Simonetta Sommaruga. He congratulated Ms Sommaruga on having been elected and expressed his wish for Ukraine and Switzerland cooperation to intensify in the future.

‘Cooperation of the Swiss government and the Parliament of Ukraine is an important constituent of the mutual relations efficiency. We are grateful for the support of reforms in Ukraine and hope for the further enhancement of our states collaboration, - emphasized Dmytro Razumkov.

Among the spheres where Ukraine can use the Swiss experienced, the Head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine mentioned decentralisation and direct democracy standards.
