The All-Ukrainian Association of Hromadas supports the necessity in amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine regarding reforming of territorial organization of power and the territorial structure of the state.

“The released draft law No 2598 includes the norms which cardinally change the system of the government authorities. At the same time, some constitutional innovations are ambiguous and even incomprehensible. There are some issues concerning consistency of separate provisions of the draft law with the mentioned above Charter which fixed the generally recognized principles and fundamentals of the local self-government”, the appeal informs.

In connection therewith, the All-Ukrainian Association of Hromadas appeals to the Ukrainian power not to agree to approve these fundamental amendments to the Constitution in haste.
