Three mountainous hromadas – the Slavska AH from the Lviv Oblast and the villages of Vyhoda and Dolyna from the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast – declare their intentions for close cooperation in the field of economic development of neighbouring territories on the border of the two oblasts.
The signing of the Memorandum on subregional cooperation of hromadas is scheduled for Friday, 14 December 2018, at 11:00 in the premises of Vyhoda Heritage Centre.
All three hromadas have a strong tourist and recreational potential and are taking active steps in the development of recreational infrastructure.
By joining forces, hromadas intend to work together on attracting funds from international technical assistance projects.
Establishment of the Association of Local Self-Government Bodies of these territories, experts’ involvement and elaboration of a joint strategic development plan for the tourism subregion are envisaged in future.
