On 1 October 2018, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine registered a draft Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on the Creation of Prerequisites for the Protection of Economic and Heritage Rights of Citizens in Rural Areas” (Reg. No 9140, hereinafter referred to as the Draft Law). On 2 October the Draft Law was adopted by the Main Scientific and Expert Department of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. On 3 October, it was reviewed by the Committee on Economic Policy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and recommended for adoption.
The Draft Law, among other things, concerns the provision of administrative services in the field of civil status, real estate and business registration. Therefore, its adoption will also affect the implementation of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme, in particular, in terms of improved administrative service delivery for the population.
