Gulyaipilska AH cares for children with special educational needs

On 14 September, the Inclusive Resource Centre was opened in the Gulyaipilska rural amalgamated hromada of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

This is a new accessible and comfortable space necessary to ensure the right of children with special educational needs to receive pre-school and general secondary education with the provision of the necessary psychological and pedagogical support.

This institution is one in the rayon and on terms of co-financing can meet the needs of residents of other settlements of the rayon.

In total, UAH 618 thousand were allocated for the Centre’s functioning, including UAH 493 thousand from the AH budget.

The Centre has a teacher-defectologist, a teacher-speech therapist, and a practicing psychologist. The AH will soon announce a competition for a rehabilitation specialist’s position.
