Semenivska AH hosts Hlibov festival

The Semenivska amalgamated hromada has again proven that it can prepare nice surprises. This time it hosted the regional contest of stand-up comic artists “Cheerful Wisdom Festival” in the Veselyi Podil starosta district.

It was Veselyi Podil where Leonid Hlibov, a classic of the Ukrainian literature, was born. Almost for thirty years, the Hlibov reading has been taken place in this village. The contest received a new breath after the creation of the Semenivska AH. And Veselyi Podil itself, along with three other neighboring village councils, became the first in Ukraine to undergo a voluntary accession procedure. "The Semenivska AH is one of the locomotives of the decentralisation reform in the Poltava Oblast. The liveliness and systematic work of the team made by Lyudmyla Mylashevych impress. The achievements of the hromada for three years are a proof of the truly chosen path of decentralisation," says Iryna Balybina, director of the Poltava Local Government Development Centre, established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and MinRegion.
