The process of formation of 9 amalgamated hromadas is being completed in four rayons of the oblast. These are the Berdychiv, Chudnov, Ruzhyn and Zhytomyr Rayons, said Vasyl Nevmerzhytskyi, Director of the Zhytomyr Local Government Development Centre, at the press conference on “Key Decentralisation Challenges in the Zhytomyr Oblast”.

“9 hromadas are already completing all necessary procedures for AH formation. Two hromadas are waiting for the appointment of the elections by the CEC, two more are holding the final sessions, and four more are waiting for the positive conclusion of the OSA,” he said.
