Hromadas of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast are advised to establish agroparks after receiving land resources

The Cabinet of Ministers starts the process of transferring land outside settlements to the ownership of amalgamated hromadas. Thus, the hromadas of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast are advised to open agroparks that will carry out full cycle of agricultural production, reported by Olena Tertyshna, director of the Dnipropetrovsk Local Government Development Centre, established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and MinRegion.

“The experts of the Local Government Development Centre, together with the Dnipro Development Agency, have prepared an investment projects portfolio for the hromadas, that can increase the efficiency of use of the AH land resources. For example, agricultural parks envisage introduction of full-cycle agricultural production, operating throughout the year (from growing to processing and sale). If the hromada can allocate 60 hectares of land to agricultural parks, over 500 jobs will be provided,” said Olena Tertyshna.
