The Shyrokivska AH of the Zaporizhzhya Rayon was established a year ago, amalgamating 28 settlements. In another six months (in April 2017), the first elections of the head and deputy corps took place.

Renovation of the system of street lighting, reconstruction of rural water pipes, creation of own communal enterprises, first new asphalt roads, development of general plans and complete property inventory are only some of the work results. Denys Korotenko, head of the Shyrokivska hromada, told about the main difficulties faced by the hromada had at the beginning of its existence, and its plans for the future.
