Press announcement! Second Polish-Ukrainian Forum on Local Self-Government to be held in Kharkiv on 23 November

On 23 November 2017 the Kharkiv Oblast will host the Second Polish-Ukrainian Forum on Local Self-Government “Hromada. Effective development. Investments”.

This Forum will be held for the second year in a row within the framework of the implementation of the local self-government and decentralisation reform, which is being actively effectuated in Ukraine and in particular in the Kharkiv Oblast.

The Forum was initiated by the Kharkiv Local Government Centre, Kharkiv Oblast State Administration, Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Kharkiv, NGO “Polish-Ukrainian Agrarian Association”, “U-LEAD with Europe” Programme and International Fund “Solidarity”.

About 400 representatives of local self-government bodies, state authorities and public organisations of the Kharkiv Oblast, as well as representatives of delegations from 7 oblasts of Ukraine, Ukrainian and Polish business and expert circles will take part in the Forum.

The Forum will be held on 23 November 2017 from 11.00 till 19.00 in the coworking space "FABRIKA" (1, Blahovishchenska Str., Kharkiv).
