Ivankiv settlement community in Kyiv region and Gmina Pawonków in Lublin County, Silesian Voivodeship, the Republic of Poland, signed a cooperation agreement.
The document was signed during a visit of Ivankiv community delegation to Poland, headed by its Mayor Tetiana Svyrydenko.
The partnership aims to foster cooperation in local self-government, security, culture, environmental protection, and attracting investment. The parties have also agreed to exchange practical experience and develop joint projects focused on community development and improving the quality of life for residents.
During the visit, the representatives of Ivankiv community were introduced to the work of local infrastructure facilities in the Gmina Pawonków, in particular the voluntary fire brigade, educational and cultural institutions.
According to the officials of Ivankiv community, the agreement opens up new opportunities for international cooperation, the exchange of experience, and the implementation of joint initiatives between the Ukrainian and Polish communities.
During the visit, Tetiana Svyrydenko, Head of Ivankiv community, also received awards from representatives of the Polish Catholic Social Union for her contribution to the development of cooperation and her active community work.
