Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko emphasised that frontline territories are one of the Government's key priorities. To ensure systematic work in nine regions where hostilities are ongoing or have taken place, as well as in temporarily occupied territories, the Government is intensifying the activities of the Coordination Centre for the Management of these regions. The Coordination Centre will be headed by Oleksii Kuleba, Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine - Minister for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine.
‘I am grateful to the Prime Minister of Ukraine for her initiative and decision. This is an important step towards strengthening coordination and maintaining constant attention to frontline communities. From now on, each ministry and central executive body will appoint a deputy responsible for policies regarding territories where hostilities are or have been taking place, as well as temporarily occupied regions,’ said Oleksii Kuleba.
At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, a mechanism was adopted that provides for the appointment of deputies in each ministry and central executive body. These deputies will be responsible for forming and implementing policies regarding frontline territories.
This mechanism covers all ministries, as well as the State Service of Special Communications and Information of Ukraine, the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate, the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Public Utilities, and the State Property Fund.
