Joint communal enterprises: from the initiative to the start of effective work! Establish cooperation with other municipalities, create a joint utility enterprise for the development of your minicipalities! The new Support Program from "U-LEAD with Europe" will help you with this.

Experience Exchange Network (Support program) "Creation of joint utility enterprise" is an opportunity to go the full path of creation of a joint utility enterprise, starting from discussing the initiative, development of founding documents, to modeling financial plans to ensure effective operation and profitabilit.

The Program will help to find answers to these and a lot of other questions such as:

• What is the legal basis for creating a joint utility enterprise?
• How to develop the Charter for a joint utility enterprise and how to determine the management body of this company?
• How to develop an effective financial plan for the activity of a utility enterprise?
• What are the relationships between the joint utility enterprise, the founders, and the management body?

Within the frame of the Support Program, the participants will:

• Be ready to create a joint communal enterprise for the development of their municipalities
• Get acquainted with the legislative features of the creation of joint utility enterprises
• Gain skills in developing constituent documents for the creation of joint utility enterprises
• Receive consulting assistance at all stages of creating a joint utility enterprise
• Establish cooperation with colleagues from other regions of Ukraine.

How to participate?

Up to 10 teams of partner municipalities intending to create a joint communal enterprise in the field of municipal development will be selected to participate in the Experience Exchange Network (Support Program) "Creation of Joint Communal Enterprises". Each partner municipality delegates 1 participant to the team.

To take part in selection you need to fill in an attached application form and send it to the email address: regops.u-lead@giz.de by 18:00 18^th of August, 2023. In the topic of the email please write “Joint CE_Development_name of municipality_region:”.
