At the end of decentralization ten villages near Kyiv were forced to unite within the Pirnivska municipality. Although it was aimed at the common future, in reality the municipality has just started to define the basis for genuine amalgamation. The municipality has managed to do it thanks to its participation in the U-LEAD with Europe Programme, having assisted the Pirnivska municipality in defining its future and waking up ambitions to turn its home into the environmental centre of the Kyiv oblast.
