The Government has allotted the state budget subvention for projects within «Extraordinary lending programme for restoration of Ukraine» by the European Investment Bank (EIB). It is more than UAH 1,17 billion for projects targeted to social infrastructure restoration in nine oblasts of Ukraine. The decision has been approved at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

«The projects are of great social significance for Ukraine — their realization makes it possible for residents of eastern and those regions where a great number of internally displaced people reside to get access to quality services. Funds allocation will make it possible to prolong the realization of 170 projects, aimed at social infrastructure restoration: reconstruction or development of new health care and educational establishments, cultural and sport facilities, public centres and ASCs. Under the Programme provisions, the premises must be barrier free and energy efficient», – emphasized Minister of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov.
