On November, 30, 2021, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine passed in the second reading and as a whole bill №5600 On Amending the Taxation Code of Ukraine and some Regulations of Ukraine on Ensuring the Budget Incomes Balance.

According to people’s deputy Vitalii Bezghin, introducing norms, embedded in the bill, will facilitate pumping up local budgets and municipality development.

Between the first and the second readings the bill was augmented dramatically and the final draft contains a set of norms that are positive for the local self-government.

The people’ s deputy clarifies that, under the bill, the tax inspection is obliged to provide the local self-government with information about physical entities, being in arrears with local taxes.
