What is wrong with public spaces of Ukrainian towns and what challenges are faced by municipality heads and activists, trying to change something? What experiments are they ready for and is it worth adopting foreign practices? The article focuses on improving town and settlement public spaces illustrated by an example of Kopychyntsi of the Ternopil oblast.
The project is aimed at expanding the municipality vision of how to lead a town or a settlement to the new level of living and wellbeing. The article combines the description of Kopychyntsi public space condition with illustrations, integrating Ukrainian decisions and examples of the land of Bavaria, Germany.
