In August each municipality will have a special commission to address the issue of all municipality forest facilities and water resources, as well as public and communal property inventory audit.
It was claimed by the Deputy Minister of the Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Vyacheslav Nehoda during the XVІ-th Ukrainian Municipal Forum, organized by the Association of Ukrainian Cities, being held in Odesa.
«The decision made by the Council of the National Security of Ukraine in April demands the MinRegion, jointly with other ministries, agencies and oblast state administrations, to check out forest, water resources, communal and state property facilities, located on the municipality territory. The state and municipalities have to clearly realize where whose resources are. If something has failed to be transferred to municipalities, it will have to be put right. That is why in early August the commission will be established at the MinRegion, as well as regional commissions at oblast state administrations to address the issue of inventory audit», - said Vyacheslav Nehoda.
