Local self-government bodies have never had powers to manage lands outside the settlement territory, thus, they could not efficiently develop the whole municipality territory. Law №1423 On Amending certain Regulations of Ukraine on Improving the Management System and Deregulation in Land Relations Sphere has eventually solved the problem. Local self-government bodies influence all lands on their territory, so the further municipality development depends on the local authorities.
It was highlighted by Deputy Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Vyacheslav Nehoda during the press conference, dedicated to the land market start in Ukraine.
