The Government is willing to enhance cooperation and improve coordination with local authorities. The decentralization reform and regional development were one of the main priorities, having been successfully fulfilled last year. It was claimed by Prime-Minister Denys Shmyhal during the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on February, 3.

According to the Government head, the 2021 budget stipulates UAH billion for such projects.

«The funds can be spent on the social infrastructure construction and reconstruction, medical equipment or communal transport purchases, energy efficiency and energy saving projects, as well as nature-oriented and environmental projects», — said Denys Shmyhal.
