We should remember that people were voting for the hope for qualitative changes in hromadas, - Vyacheslav Nehoda

For the first time in the history of modern Ukraine, the local elections have been held on the new basis of hromadas and rayons. The country has been approaching territorial arrangement changes and the efficient local power organization for some 30 years. The essence of the elections that have been a go is to create new, more efficient local self-government, targeted to developing its hromada for the people to feel comfortable, living there.

It was emphasized by Vyacheslav Nehoda, the Deputy Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, in his comment for Decentralisation.
