How to reorganize hromadas and rayons? The issues are regulated by the government bill On Amending Certain Regulations of Ukraine in Terms of Some Issues of the activity and organization of the state power, local self-government due to Rayons Formation (Liquidation) (№ 3651)

Today the Parliament Committee on the Organisation of the State Power, Local Self-Government, Regional and Urban Development has recommended to accept the document as the basis, the document having been considered in the first reading.

Vyacheslav Nehoda, Deputy Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine claims that the document is a bill, aimed at reforming the local self-government and territorial power arrangement. It was submitted for the Parliament consideration simultaneously with the Resolution On Rayons Formation and Liquidation, confirmed by the Parliament in July. The bill will regulate issues of reorganization of the local executive power and local self-government bodies, legal succession of the communal and state property, budget resources, rights and liabilities. Such a necessity is caused by the formation of 1469 AHs and 136 new rayons in Ukraine.
