Ukraine has got a new administrative and territorial arrangement: the parliament has created 136 new rayons and has liquidated 490 old ones
On July, 17 the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has passed Resolution № 3650 «On Rayons Formation and Liquidation». According to the document, in Ukraine there are 136 rayons now. Old 490 rayons have been liquidated by the Parliament.
238 people’s deputies voted for the Resolution.
