The Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine is grateful to the USA Peace Corps volunteers in Ukraine for their support and assistance with the formation and development of Ukrainian hromadas and hopes for their work renewal as quickly as possible in Ukraine. Vyacheslav Nehoda, Deputy Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, wrote about it at his Facebook page.

The USA is evacuating Peace Corps volunteers from all countries of the world due to Covid-19. In Ukraine the USA Peace Corps has been working since 1992. 261 volunteers, including 70 volunteers working within the Hromada Development project, have to return home for the first time within 28 years.
