Shakhivska AH was the first rural hromada to be created in the Donetsk region in 2015 during the first decentralization wave. Then a new way of life was chosen by three thousand rural inhabitants. Since then a small but capable Shakhivska AH has been the first in settling many issues among rural hromadas. U-LEAD with Europe Programme Donetsk office and journalists interviewed the village council secretary of Shakhivska AH, Lyudmyla Omelchenko, about the hromada news and changes.
