On 30 September 2019, the U-LEAD with Europe Programme together with partners will hold a “Hromada for Everyone” conference in Kyiv.

The event will be attended by Alyona Babak, Minister of Development of Communities and Territories, Hanna Novosad, Minister of Education and Science, Zoryana Skaletska, Minister of Health, Annika Weidemann, Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine, as well as a number of international partners of Ukraine, numerous non-governmental and civil society organisations.

The conference will focus on discussing the achievement of 7 projects implemented with the support of the Programme in more than 100 AHs across Ukraine. In particular, the discussion will cover the issue of building a professional network of local managers and creating an environment that is comfortable for everyone.

The event will present the results of implemented practices and recommendations in the fields of education, healthcare, social services, cooperation between rural and urban territories, development of AHs with a diverse ethnic population.

The conference is organised by the U-LEAD with Europe Programme together with the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs, Partnership for Every Child, Civil Society Institute, European Centre for Minority Issues (Germany), Association of Voluntary Fire Brigades of the Republic of Poland, and the Kyiv School of Economics.

Registration to the event is already completed. During the event, there will be a live broadcast of parallel sessions on decentralisation.gov.ua. that can be followed by everyone interested in the topic.
