New stage of decentralisation: Vyacheslav Nehoda tells about reform prospects in Odesa Oblast

The Odesa Oblast needs to be more focused on the implementation of the local self-government reform and the territorial structure of public governance. There are no significant factors hindering this. The detailed analysis of the situation in the Odesa Oblast concerning the implementation of decentralisation shows clearly what steps must be done for the Odesa Oblast to be ready to conduct its regular local elections based on the new territorial structure of hromadas and rayons. This was told by Vyacheslav Nehoda, First Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine, at the press conference taken place at the Odesa Local Government Development Centre on 17 May.
