Oleksiy Mulyarenko, head of Rivne Oblast State Administration, has signed a resolution approving the conclusion on complying the draft decisions of five local councils on the hromadas’ voluntary amalgamation with the Constitution and laws of Ukraine.

The consultancy services to all these councils are provided by advisers of the Rivne Local Government Development Centre established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and MinRegion.

According to Mykhaylo Shelepa, Adviser on Decentralisation of the LGDC, more than 10 local councils are preparing to submit their draft decisions to OSA. Thus, the number of AHs in the Rivne Oblast may be substantially increased by the end of the year.
