In 2019 the Zhytomyr Local Government Development Centre, established by the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and MinRegion, will provide advisory and methodological support in writing development strategies of the Narodytska, Semenivska, Vysokivska, Pulynska and Chervonenska AHs.

These five hromadas were selected by the Zhytomyr LGDC advisers in the framework of the competition held from 25 till 31 January 2019. In total, 12 hromadas submitted their documents.

“It was difficult to choose, since the questionnaires of all hromadas were filled in qualitatively. A lot of work is ahead: team building, hromada engagement, data collection and analysis, as well as search for ideas. In the process of strategy writing, we will conduct trainings in project management, green tourism development, hromada activation and youth involvement in territory development,” said Heorhii Fedoruk, regional development adviser of the Zhytomyr LGDC.
