During January-October 2018, the revenues to the general fund of local budgets of Ukraine (excluding intergovernmental transfers) amounted to UAH 189.4 billion, which is by UAH 34.2 billion or + 22.0% more compared to the same period in 2017.
Since the beginning of the financial decentralisation reform, local budget revenues have shown a positive dynamics: if in 2014 their volume amounted to UAH 68.6 billion, then in four years they are expected to grow by 3.4 times and in 2018 will amount to more than UAH 230 billion.
Yanina Kazyuk, financial decentralisation coordinator of the Central Reform Office under MinRegion (with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme), provided explanations on financial results.
