Apparently, every starosta would like to know and be able to do everything that would allow him/her to quickly and efficiently solve daily issues. However, mere desire is not enough... Reforms are implemented by people, and without their proper qualifications it is difficult to expect that they will immediately become effective in the conditions of change. Starostas are no exception, they should not only keep up with time, but also be able to work ahead.

This article features how starostas can acquire new knowledge and improve their qualifications on their own in the age of rapid information technology development and high level of society informatisation.

A lot of information materials containing specialised knowledge that may be useful for starostas have been worked out to promote professional self-improvement and realisation of their potential.
