Land, which is now being covered by forests, can generate millions of hryvnas in revenues for hromadas. But how can one turn this statement in real money for the budget of a hromada? The Ovrutska AH has developed its best practice for the auction sale of land. On 15 March, 2018 it sold a municipal plot of land covering 4 ha at an auction for UAH 2.2 million. The original price increased by more than UAH 100,000.
