The Dnipropetrovsk Oblast is preparing for the second regional forum “Neighbourhood Fair”. The Organising Committee has already received 128 applications from AHs of the oblast. By 3 September, hromadas can submit applications with information on the best projects, implemented within the framework of 12 areas of the Decentralisation Strategy in 2018, reported Olena Tertyshna, Director of the Dnipropetrovsk LGDC during the In-House Day event. The awarding ceremony will take place on 26 September.

Definition of winning projects will be carried out in 12 areas:

1. social protection
2. education
3. healthcare
4. effective economic development
5. local finances
6. sport
7. human resourcing
8. civil protection of the population and life safety
9. protection of children
10. culture
11. e-governance and public services
12. formation of a capable hromada and spatial development.

The projects of the Neighbourhood Fair will be assessed by the expert committee and people's vote.

People’s voting will take place in the group “Neighbourhood Fair of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast”. The voting starts on 5 September, everyone can join.

The forum is organised by the Dnipropetrovsk Local Government Development Centre, established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and MinRegion, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast State Administration and Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council.
