Main decentralisation news in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast: in-house day in LGDC

The Dnipropetrovsk Local Government Development Centre presented current news on the decentralisation reform in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. During the meeting, the participants learned about the hromadas of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, considered capable by the Cabinet of Ministers, reasons why the villagers benefit from joining the cities, prospects for urban AH establishment in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast and implemented development projects of hromadas in 2018.

The Dnipropetrovsk LGDC, established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme, assembled decentralisation partners in its office – RSA representatives, journalists, public activists, AH representatives and all those interested in the latest news on decentralisation.

Olena Tertyshna, Director of the Dnipropetrovsk LGDC, familiarised the audience with the top decentralisation news in the region. The Centre will publish a decentralisation news digest. “This is a new tool for disseminating information about the results and practices existing inamalgamated hromadas. This digest will be distributed both among the media of our oblast and among the AHs and our partners – associations of local self-government,” said Olena Tertyshna.
