This issue was discussed at the Local Development Forum, opened in Truskavets, Lviv Oblast, on 21 June.
Representatives of the Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Ternopil and Luhansk Oblast Councils shared their positive experience in implementing such programmes.
They include co-financing of urban and rural projects from the oblast budget. In the Lviv Oblast, such programme is called a “Competition of Local Development Projects” (a competition for microprojects) and has been in operation since 2011, said Volodymyr Hirnyak, deputy head of the Lviv Oblast Council.
Besides, representatives of hromadas shared their successful experience in attraction of co-financing.
