The Terebovlyanska AH is rich in historical and cultural monuments. Thus, there are 16 monuments of cultural heritage of national importance, 14 monuments of urban planning and architecture and 22 facilities of the natural reserve fund of local importance in the city of Terebovlya and its suburbs, among them – the famous Terebovlya castle, 2 overpasses (with 6 and 9 arches), Pidhora monastery. All this testifies to the fact that the hromada (25 more villages joined Terebovlya) has a remarkable tourism potential that needs to be developed. Hence, the AH leadership (the head and deputies) decided to develop this treasures and, as a result, in February 2017, tourism was included in the development priorities of the Strategy of the Terebovlyanska AH.

Taking into account the experience of operation of the Tourist Information Centre (TIC) in the city of Ternopil, the AH management decided to establish a similar centre in Terebovlya. A professional team was formed for this purpose.

In the summer of 2017, TIC presented the city with its project of multimedia online directory “Terebovlya.info”. The site is being filled with useful information not only for the city and hromada residents, but also for the tourists.

The TIC website tic.terebovlia.info with information on the TIC services, their cost, excursion schedules, and an online store of souvenirs has been launched.

In March 2018, the team of the Tourist Information Centre installed an advertising and information tube with the first tourist signs in the city centre.

This spring, Terebovlya has been first presented at the International Tourist Exhibition UITT'2018.
