The Parliamentary Committee on State Building, Regional Policy and Local Self-Government recommended the Verkhovna Rada to adopt as a basis the draft law on amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On State Registration of Civil Status Acts” and some other legislative acts of Ukraine on decentralisation and approximation of administrative services in the field of state registration of civil status acts No 6150 to citizens.

Oleksandr Dekhtyarchuk, head of the subcommittee on administrative services, state symbols and awards of the Committee, informed that draft law No 6150 proposes, in particular, to empower the executive bodies of village, settlement and city councils in the field of state registration of civil status acts, as well as to simplify the procedure for state registration of civil acts.
