Residents of Verkhnya Lanna have supported idea of voluntary accession to Lannivska AH

It has not been six months since the first elections in the Lannivska amalgamated hromada, but here they are actively working on the voluntary accession of surrounding village councils. The process is being carried out in democratic, transparent way with involvement of all those willing.

The result was just in time. Already in early June, deputies of the Verkhnya Lanna village council (Karlivka Rayon) should vote for joining the Lannivska AH. Cuurently, there is a public discussion of the prospects of potential AH settlements. The Poltava Local Government Development Centre, established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and MinRegion, provides consistent expert advisory support and maximum assistance to the decentralisation processes in the Karlivka Rayon. Besides, with the LGDC’s support, residents of still non-amalgamated hromadas had the opportunity to visit successful AHs of the Poltava Oblast.
