Creativity, ideas and impressive awareness! These are the results of the student's media contest "My 10 Steps as AH Head" among schoolchildren of educational establishments of hromadas of the Zhytomyr Oblast. Today, on 26 April, the award ceremony has taken place at the Zhytomyr Local Government Development Centre.

"We were amazed by the participants' awareness of the life, problems, successes of their hromadas, as well as their interesting ideas for development. It means that our AHs have enormous talent pool in schools, and today it is extremely important to maintain and develop it," said Dmytro Klymenko, Communications Adviser at the Zhytomyr LGDC.

The winners of the competition include Maksym Varholyuk, pupil of the Ivankivtsi school of the Semenivska AH, Sofia Hrabina, pupil of the Myropil gymnasium of the Myropilska AH, Veronika Shyndarivska and Valeriya Kobernyuk, pupils of the Hlybochytsya school of the Hlybochytska AH, Alina Kovalchuk, pupil of the Stanishivka school of Stanishivska hromada, and Anastasiya Ohol, pupil of the Chyzhivka school of the Chyzhivska hromada.

The winners received gifts and certificates from the organisers of the competition. In addition, in May, the children will visit Kyiv to get acquainted with the work of state authorities.

After the award ceremony, the children, teachers and experts, played the board game "Hromada World: Accelerator", which envisages getting through the stages of formation and development of hromadas under different scenarios.
