Since the beginning of the year, the Honcharivska hromada has introduced a separate collection of solid household waste. And although they have not yet received profits, they can already boast of the fact that people began to sort waste, reports the Chernihiv Local Government Development Centre, established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and MinRegion.

According to Vitaliy Rudnyk, Honcharivske village head, the system of separate collection of garbage and solid waste was first introduced in the hromada in order to reduce the harmful impact on the environment, improve the hromada sanitary conditions, clean its territory from household waste and improve the living conditions for people.
