How villages change in Vinnytsia Oblast: experience of Voronovytska amalgamated hromada

The Voronovytska AH created unique structures for village hromadas: municipal police, administrative service centre, complex of water treatment facilities, and a gas rescue service. Water supply lines are being actively built, asphalt road surface is being laid, and street lighting is being installed in the AH, which includes the urban-type settlement of Voronovytsia and Komariv village. The restoration of an old sewage system has begun, and a new network is being laid. Residents are given privileged travel tickets, and children get free insurance. In the near future, they plan to install video surveillance cameras in the streets, purchase equipment for issuing national passports in the form of an ID-card and install a waste sorting line. According to the example of Vinnytsia, this year the form of electronic appeals will be used on the website. Besides, the urban-type settlement has a tourist facility – the Hrokholskyi-Mozhayskyi Palace was restored in Voronovytsia at the expense of the EU funds.

The Vinnytsia.info journalist visited the Voronovytska AH and talked with the village head and local residents to find out how their lives have changed over the past two years since they formed amalgamated hromada.
