The purpose of the round table meeting "The role of deputies of local councils in the process of voluntary amalgamation of hromadas", held in the Ivano-Frankivsk Local Government Development Centre on 19 March, with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme, was to make the members of local councils the allies in the implementation of the decentralisation reform.

In the framework of the information meeting, the state of hromadas’ amalgamation in Ukraine and in the Zakarpattya Oblast, as well as financial possibilities of the AHs and areas of project work open to the hromadas were discussed.
