Amalgamated hromadas presented their own unique product in “Million-Hryvnia Hromada” project

On Sunday, 11 February, at 9.50, the viewers of the 1+1 TV channel will watch the new issue of the social, business and entertainment project “Million-Hryvnia Hromada”, where they will learn about the process of decentralisation in Ukraine in the first-ever reality format. The project was developed jointly with the United States Agency for International Development “Decentralisation Offering Better Results and Efficiency” (DOBRE) Programme.

It is in the third issue of the “Million-Hryvnia Hromada” reality that fierce competition between the participants will emerge, because the hromada that earns the least in its product will leave.

Thus, in search of its unique product, the Knyahynynivska AH appealed to the ancient traditions and local craftsmen, recreating the Ukrainian folk wooden toy children played with at the end of the nineteenth century. The Pechenizhynska AH drew attention to the natural resources their land is rich in, and decided to present the ecological salt. Novopskovska hromada created a souvenir packaging for chalk set “Happy Chalk” children can play with. The Skala-Podilska AH decided to create a healthy product and present artesian water with honey. The Buzka AH, which collects high yields of vegetable crops, will attract customers by carrot, beet and pumpkin candies.
