Representatives of eight hromadas from five oblasts of Ukraine visited Poland in order to observe successful examples of cooperation between the local authorities and business, public organisations and educational institutions, encouragement of entrepreneurship development and attraction of investors to communities. During the LED Action Tour, carried out within the framework of the United States Agency for International Development “Decentralisation Offering Better Results and Efficiency” (DOBRE) Programme, the participants had the chance to get acquainted with local economic development tools, get inspired by everything seen and heard, and, coming back home, change the life in their AHs for the better.
Currently every hromada – participant of the LED Action tour – has the task to implement their own local economic development (LED) projects.
