The Shalyhynska rural settlement amalgamated hromada of the Hlukhiv Rayon united 9 settlements and almost 5 thousand people. Yuriy Matviyenko, head of the hromada, shared the experience of hromada development and settlement of problematic issues faced over the year.

The hromada is currently actively reforming the educational sector. The Hlukhiv Rayon Council transferred a school and 3 educational complexes to the balance of the newly formed hromada education department. One of these educational institutions – the Khodyne educational complex – had to be reformed due to its lack of completeness and skilled personnel.
