The Semenivska amalgamated hromada is a pioneer in voluntary amalgamation not only in the Poltava Oblast, but in Ukraine as well. At the end of December 2017, additional elections of deputies took place there (as four village councils joined the AH established in 2015, and 13 deputies were elected.) And already during the first days of the new 2018, Oleksandr Pankov and Vadym Shtefan, experts of the Poltava Local Government Development Centre (established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and MinRegion), held the first meeting of the working group on the development of a strategic plan for the amalgamated hromada.
