About 8 thousand residents of Bohdanivska hromada were provided with high-quality potable water

A pump room, providing almost 8 thousand people of hromada with high-quality potable water was opened in the village of Bohdanivka.

“The decentralisation reform of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko opens new opportunities for the hromadas. They decide themselves how to develop their territory, and most importantly – they have necessary resource for this. The Bohdanivska amalgamated hromada is a vivid example,” said Oleh Kuzhman, first deputy head of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast State Administration.

Lack of potable water is a problem faced by the residents of the Bohdanivska hromada for years. There was water in the taps, but its quality left much to be desired. The mine was the main reason for that, explained Oleksiy Hryshchenko, head of the Bohdanivska amalgamated hromada.

“People were going for free drinking water to Pavlohrad, and it’s far. From now on they will be able to use the Bohdanivka pump-room. We punched the well, installed the filter. Everything is done at hromada’s expense,” he said.

The pump-room ground is arranged. Everything is done for the comfort of the peasants.

“We are very grateful, this is an event for us. One can come here anytime and collect high-quality water with no restrictions,” said Halyna Hanosova, resident of Bohdanivka.

There are almost 8 thousand residents in the Bohdanivska hromada.
